py.test is a mature popular tool aiming to to support an agile, fast and joyful development experience. It is developed by merlinux people under an open source license. py.test is drives PyPy's over ten thousand tests and is used by many companies and individuals throughtout the world.
devpi: Python packaging and testing server
The MIT-licensed devpi system features a powerful PyPI-compatible server and a complimentary command line tool to drive packaging, testing and release activities with Python.
tox: standardized testing for Python
Tox is a de-facto standard tool for running tests for python packages. It helps you to make sure that your packages run against different dependency configurations and python interpreters.
PyPy: A fast and flexible Python implementation
Founded in 2003, merlinux contractors have majorly contributed and continue to contribute to this challenging project. From 2004 till 2007 the PyPy research project received co-funding by the European Union. merlinux co-managed a consortium with 8 international partners and carried out a major fraction of the technical work. merlinux also carried out several projects for large international companies such as Nokia, Google and Canonical.
mailwitness - email certification software
merlinux has lead the implementation (2005 and 2006) of a reliable and secure mail delivery certification service. In close co-operation with Diginotar, Trustable, Axxeo and other companies it implemented a system for notarially signing delivery receipts. The project was developed with Riccardo Genghini, an Italian notary well known for his initiatives to bring notarial services to the digital world.
